Poor Deadmeat... The combat feels like desperate flailing and it fits perfectly, everything about this game is so funny and bitterly sad. I felt useless by the end...
The way this one turns the combat on its head is so cool and ties into the narrative in an affecting way. Felt really good to puzzle out each fight. The original artwork is really nice. I love deadmeat and want to hug her so so bad. The final encounter is such a punch in the gut especially on top of the bleakness that was already there leading up to it. This one hurt my heart and I love it all the more for that.
this was such a wonderful game. i love any formalist rpgmaker game and this one is just laser targeted to appeal to me directly.
“why does everyone have to keep hurting me but not even have the decency to kill me?”
“why do people help me just to prolong my hurting?”
even after surmounting every odd and overcoming everyone who wronged you - even the woman who birthed you with her scornful eyes - there is no catharsis or resolution or relief, only screaming and crying at nothing in the dark.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

not gonna say anything other than that I don't think I've seen another game do what this one does
very nice game concept!! but i am very confused on how to beat the pure maiden boss
she forces you to be very assiduous with status effects
Deadmeat is really cute, I'm so sad. I really liked the mechanics of the fights too.
I'm glad that modern technology enables us render this kind of hyper-realistic audio-visual experience.
"Playtime: 20 minutes to 50 minutes to the rest of your life, depending on your dedication and difficulty."
I get it now.
